What is The Mud Hut?

Since 2003, The Mud Hut has provided the greater East Texas community with the opportunity to get creative in a do-it-yourself fashion. From beginners to experienced professionals, our studio offers a welcoming, warm environment for people of all ages and artistic abilities.

Our pottery studio invites individuals to pick an item to paint using kiln-fired glazes. Projects are left at the studio to be fired in the kiln. Once they’ve been fired, there is about a one-week turnaround time to come back to the studio to pick up your one of a kind piece.

The Mud Hut is a great place for birthday parties, get-togethers or just individual time to relax and create a unique piece for yourself or as a gift for someone special. We’re proud to offer our community this unique experience to create something they will cherish forever.
